Feed Mill Operator 

Frenchman Valley Coop is looking for individuals who have an interest in working for a local cooperative in the Feed Department. We have an opening at our Feed Mill for a Feed Mill Operator and would like to hear from you if you are willing to work hard, have an Ag background, want to learn more about the Livestock Industry and have a desire to advance your career. Overtime potential is available along with full benefits for full time hires.

Duties include:

• Produce livestock feed & custom blends through mixing, pelleting, and/or bagging
• Accurately weigh, package, and label feed
• Maintain accurate records of feed additives and lot number tracking
• Develop a working knowledge of the commodities and ingredients handled
• Ensure feed integrity through quality control processes
• Load and unload products
• Assist customers when necessary
• Keep warehouse and production areas neat, clean, and orderly
• Perform general maintenance and upkeep of feed mill & equipment

Qualifications:

• Ability to operate machinery such as a forklift
• Ability to work extended hours when necessary
• Ability to lift 60 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop repetitively
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs
• Ability to work in areas with grain dust and exposure to adverse weather/temperatures
